Agata S.A., a Polish chain of large-scale furniture and home décor stores, has selected Consafe Logistics’ Astro WMS as their new warehouse management system (WMS) to support their logistics operations. Astro WMS will be implemented in Agata’s distribution center in central Poland, enhancing both retail and e-commerce flows.
Agata initiated the search for a new WMS to find a more advanced solution that aligned with their logistics goals.
"Our previous WMS was part of the ERP system. Although it served its purpose, the company adopted a strategy to separate the ERP and WMS functions. We were looking for a flexible, long-term solution that would allow for quick adaptation to rapidly changing conditions," - says Sebastian Harupa, IT Deputy Director of Agata S.A.
After a thorough evaluation process, Agata chose Consafe Logistics. “We had previous knowledge of the brand, and some of our employees were also familiar with the WMS,” explains Sebastian Harupa. Reference visits to sites using Astro WMS strengthened the positive impression, complemented by feedback gathered during market checks. A detailed ROI analysis completed the selection process, reinforcing the choice of Consafe Logistics.
The new WMS has a wide range of configuration options and will manage and optimize operations for approximately 150 concurrent users. It will integrate seamlessly with Agata’s ERP system and carrier platforms, providing a comprehensive approach to the company’s logistics operations.
